<h1></h1> <h1 class="MsoNormal">The secretariat of SCSRT holds the first specialized meeting on SIT monitoring and evaluation in cooperation with the Science & Technology Research Center of Sharif University of Technology.</h1> <h1></h1> <h1 class="MsoNormal">The first specialized meeting on SIT monitoring and evaluation was held with the participation of Dr. Abooyee Ardakan, the deputy of the Secretary General of SCSRT and representatives of organizations involved in SIT monitoring and evaluation. The meeting was aimed at networking between professionals in order to provide an environment for constructive criticism and developing creative solutions for the current issues of the country in this field.</h1> <h1></h1> <h1 class="MsoNormal">At the beginning of the session Dr. Abooyee said “Based on the fifth development law, the ministry of SRT and the ministry of health and medical education have been tasked to devise and implement a comprehensive monitoring system under the supervision of SCSRT.”</h1> <h1></h1> <h1 class="MsoNormal">He added that: <span> </span>“there are several challenging issues in this field that need to be resolved. One of these challenges is the lack of an integrated monitoring system in the country. Considering that each of the organizations involved have a separate monitoring system, it is time to transparently divide the jurisdiction of each of these organizations in the field. </h1> <h1></h1> <h1 class="MsoNormal">Later on Dr. Maleki, the head of International collaborations office of Sharif University, <span> </span>talked about the current status of SIT monitoring and evaluation in the country and introduced the challenges and issues facing the national innovation system including innovation system policy making, defining goals and designing required plans.<a name="_GoBack"></a></h1> <h1></h1>
